Chemistry, Specialized in Clinical Laboratory, graduated from the Department of Chemical-Biological Sciences, Universidad de Sonora. From 1995 to 1997 he specialized in Clinical Pathology in Laboratorios Clínicos de Puebla and later, from 2001 to 2002, he specialized in Diagnostic Immunohematology at the Universidad de Sonora. He obtained a PhD degree at the Centro de Investigación en Alimentación y Desarrollo (CIAD, A.C.) in June 2008.

Dr. Bolado has attended 41 National and International updating Courses and Conferences, has participated with 93 Conferences or presentations at Conferences, Courses, Conferences and events of academic updating, has taught eight courses for professionals and teachers and has participated in the Organization of 9 scientific events. For 15 years he worked in the areas of Microbiology and Emergencies in the Clinical Laboratory of the Hospital General del Estado “Dr. Ernesto Ramos Bours”. In January of 2009 he returned to Universidad de Sonora as a full-time professor. Within his academic productivity, Dr. Bolado has directed or co-directed 10 undergraduate theses, seven of master's degrees (two in process) and one of PhD (in process); He is the author or co-author of 30 articles published in journals of national or international circulation, he has also participated as a researcher in 13 local and 5 international research protocols, in agreement with different institutions, including the Center for Disease Prevention and Control (CDC). He currently has a PRODEP Profile, is a member of the National System of Researchers Level I and is the Head of the Department of Ciencias Químico Biológicas of the Unidad Regional Centro of the Universidad de Sonora.
