Research Interests

Currently I'm working on molecular microbiology of terrestrial and aquatic systems which includes shrimp culture, wastewater treatment bioreactors and soil. My aim of study is the microbial ecology of those systems, focused on identifying the essential role that microbiota plays and their dynamics, in order to know how could those environmental systems could be modified by biotic and abiotic agents and their consequences, as a first step towards control, conservation and improvement production.
