Abstract

The seeking for food variety is recognized as an important characteristic that influences consumer behavior. This paper analyzes the Sonora consumers' attitudes toward the ethnic/international food as well as traditional meals, by using the VARSEEK (Variety seeking tendency) scale. Though this application we can find the individuals profile that tends to search for food diversity, and obtain relevant information that allows analyzing the potential market for ethnic/international food, and the traditional meal preferences as well.
