Abstract

A colloidal suspension confined in a cylindrical pore was investigated for the structure in terms of pair correlations. The local structure of the model colloidal suspension was studied using Monte Carlo simulations. The study was carried out using the Derjaguin-Landau-Verwey-Overbeek potential, and the respective interactions between the colloidal particles. The axial and angular pair correlation functions were the structural properties evaluated along with the concentration profiles.
