Abstract

Glycine has been reported to be a complexing agent for transition metals such as Fe, Ni and Cr. In this work we propose that it could also yield good results for Cd in the application of depositing CdS thin films. To understand the behavior of the systems we performed a theoretical analysis at the MP2/LANL2DZ level of theory.
