La reforma: el mito y la simulación en la Universidad Pública Mexicana.

Abstract

Neoliberal activists have evaluated negatively public education, particularly higher education. This has resulted in a failure because it has not solved social problems. We think that such a statement is based on a myth and it is a simulation. Moreover, it is argued, under the quality motto, that higher education reform in Mexico does not have evaluation criteria to identify and support those elements affecting education. We support public education reform; however, we see it is necessary to make effective changes in academic and administrative areas that may include rigorous evaluation following a process of education investment.
