Near-field from 2-dimensional defects at metallic surfaces

Research output: Chapter in Book/Report/Conference proceedingConference contributionpeer-review

The diffraction of plane P-polarized electromagnetic waves from 2-D Gaussian defects is studied theoretically. The Near-Field shows that the defects acts like surface nano-antenna as its dimensions are in the nanometric range.
