Registro y análisis de patrones de movilidad de individuos en ciudades

In this study, georeferenced information will be recorded of the daily trips within the city of volunteer participants, through a Smartphone application. We want to find which are the most used routes to travel with different means of transport, to serve future investigations and public servants to determine the best public transport and urban infrastructure policies.

There is no accessible information to the academy about the mobility of citizens in Mexico. The realization of public policies on transport and urbanization depends on knowing and analyzing the usual transfers of people within urban areas. The intention of this study is to generate a technological platform that allows to record and analyze transfers of citizens in a short time and at low cost and to provide detailed information on mobility in different forms of transport.
