Resumen
This article claims to develop alternative solutions to two different problems which contain the golden section: 1) in an electrical circuit with infinite ohmic resistances this paper provides an inductive solution by Fibonacci sequence and results are corroborated using continue fractions; and 2) in the design of a frustum of a cone with minimum aerodynamic resistance a numerical solution is proposed to check the goodness of the model. Both exercises have didactic power on subjects such as electrical engineering, vectorial mechanics, numerical analysis and advanced algebra. This paper represents a contribution to the study of subjects associated to improve mathematical skills.
