N2 - In this article, the topic of teacher evaluation in Normal Schools is addressed. The objective is to present a model of Self-evaluation and Hetero-evaluation of teaching practice in the state of Sonora, Mexico. The study is descriptive and factorial; students, teachers and managers of the Bachelors' degree in elementary school (2012 plan) of the Normal Schools participated. The following instruments are used: teacher performance evaluation from the students' perspective, management evaluation and teaching performance, self-evaluation of teaching performance and observation instrument and teacher interview, with Likert type responses. Some of the results are those in terms of perception of the students perception, the dimension in which their teachers performed best is in planning, with an average of 6.49 and a standard deviation of 0.348, while teaching competencies and attention to students, they show the lowest averages with 6.33 and 6.34 respectively, despite their confidence intervals being quite broad. In the analysis of the exploratory factor, the dimensions are grouped into two factors and it is concluded that students and teachers have very similar perspectives in terms of teaching practice, while managers are at the opposite end of the evaluation. Students show a tendency to bestow their teachers high grades in their assessment. In order to improve the training of students and teachers, the importance of evaluating teachers in an objective way must be emphasized.
