Producción de callogénesis en explantes de Vitex mollis Kunth recurso fitogenético de la selva baja caducifolia

Resumen

Vitex mollis Kunth is a tree that belongs to the Lamiaceae family, and is found throughout Mexico. The objective of this work was to establish a methodology for obtaining callogenesis of Vitex mollis in vitro. The percentage of callogenesis in stem was 75%, in axillary bud and apical bud (85% and 80%, respectively) and leaf 60%. Callus growth with respect to height, evaluation time (4, 5 and 6 incubation periods) and concentrations of 1.0, 1.5 and 2.0 mgL–1 of IBA was better in axillary bud with 0.70, 1.79 and 2.60 mm and in apical bud 0.56, 1.22 and 2.33mm. The average callus height with 1.0, 1.5 and 2.0 mgL–1 of IBA in the axillary bud was 1.04 to 1.14 mm and in the apical bud 0.91 to 1.06 mm. The width of the callus in the axillary bud, apical bud and stem were the ones with the highest growth over the time evaluated. When evaluating the width of the callus with 0.5, 1.0, 1.5 and 2.0 mgL–1 of IBA, the average in the stem was 0.92, 1.04, 1.08 and 1.14 mm, axillary bud 1.14, 1.22, 1.40, and 1.50 mm, apical bud 0.97, 1.08, 1.13 and 1.16 mm, leaf in the concentrations of 1.0, 1.5 and 2.0 mgL–1 showed 0.90, 1.00 and 0.99 mm. Regarding the percentage of contamination, 14.33% was obtained. while the percentage of oxidation in the oxyl explants from 25 to 32.66%.
