Resumen
Light pulses passed through optically opaque barriers were investigated for the superluminal transmission characteristics. Electrodynamics considerations were used to analyze superluminal transmission. Frequency components of pulses existed only when barrier presence decreased the density of states of electromagnetic systems. The results were then compared with numerical calculations.
