Resumen

A huge amount of virtual communities focusing on different topics currently exist. In this paper we centre on those virtual communities in which people share knowledge and experience. However, the level of knowledge shared may decrease when there is no face to face communication and when members do not have the chance to meet each other personally. In order to reduce this problem we propose a trust model with which to help community members decide whether another person is trustworthy or otherwise. © 2009 Springer Berlin Heidelberg.
